Services of CPACS
- Circles of Support and Accountability
- Circles of Support and Accountability (COSA) is a prisoner reentry program that works with high risk sex offenders.
- Discipline that Restores
- CPACS is a leader in developing and implementing restorative justice principles. School discipline is one area that can benefit greatly by using RJ principles. We offer curriculum, training and consultation in the process, as well as graduate education leading to the MA degree or graduate certificate.
- Restorative Justice Project
- RJP has a three-fold mission:
- Through PACS RJP to assist churches and other groups in their ministry of beginning new Victim Offender Reconciliation Programs.
- Through Restorative Justice Project.org to assist government and non-profit agencies in implementing restorative justice principles in their programs.
- Through Restorative Justice International.org to assist in reconciliation at the societal, national and international levels.
- Papers on Restorative Justice are available at the PACS Documents site.
- RJP holds an annual conference.
- Mediation Associatessm
- Providing neutrals for all types of disputes. Services include mediation, facilitation, arbitration, early neutral evaluation, and various mixtures of these alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Refugee Conflict Management Project
- Under a grant from the Department of Housing and Human Services Office of Refugee Resettlement, CPACS created conflict management systems for refugees and refugee resettlement workers at twelve U.S. sites. Reports on this project which began October 1, 1996 and ended September 30 1999 are available from this link.

- Designing dispute resolution systems for organizations
- The faculty of CPACS is available to consult with other organizations on a contract basis. Helping to create organizations with solid dispute resolution programs is a specialty.
- Evaluation and Process Consultation Services
- Organizational evaluation, grant performance evaluation and process consultation are provided by the faculty of CPACS, drawing upon the resources of the University as necessary to create multi-disciplinary teams appropriate to the situation.
- ADR Legislation Tracking
- Current California legislation of interest to alternative dispute resolution practitioners.
- Continuing Legal Education
- MCLE credit available for attorneys taking courses offered by CPACS.
- CPACS Bookshop
- CPACS faculty books and other publications for sale.
